The new school year is right around the corner, and besides marking the official end of summer, it also brings exciting changes here at Northeastern.
Promotion Sunday is Sunday, September 4th for Sunday School in the Children’s and Student Ministries departments. Children ages 2 years old through high school will move to the next age/grade level.
For children in grades 1 – 5, Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. and Children’s Church is at 11:00 a.m. This year in Children’s Church, we will go through The Story of Hope, which covers 40 events in the Bible that together tell of God’s redemptive plan. The Story of Hope also highlights eight essential truths that everyone needs to know.
For students entering middle school (6th – 8th grades), high school and post high school, we are gearing up for a great year of spiritual growth and fun, so please join us! The middle and high school Sunday School classes meet at 11:00 a.m. Coram Deo, the college/young adult class, meets at 9:30 a.m.
